In this very famous place in São Miguel and overlooking the marina, the famous queijadas of Vila Franca do Campo do Morgado are made.
The conventual and secular recipe comes from the hands of the ancient nuns of the Convent of Santo André that, with the persistence and dedication of Eduíno Morgado's family, managed to keep the recipe alive and authentic and make it simultaneously one of the most appreciated and valued sweets of the region.
In this store it is possible to taste queijadas in different flavors such as coconut and bean, as well as homemade cakes by the slice and watch the preparation of the queijadas while enjoying the delicacies made on the spot.
This space is open every day between 09am and 7pm.
