The Mané Cigano Restaurant, originally called Cervejaria Sardinha and considered a mythical restaurant in Ponta Delgada, is a world reference in the art of frying horse mackerel and blue jack mackerel, where visitors love the cozy and simple space to enjoy a set of regional delicacies that can only be found here.
Dishes such as fried blue jack mackerel with baked beans, stewed cow tongue, fried moray eel and the famous fried horse mackerel are some of the specialties that can be tasted. For dessert, a slice of cheese from the island or a Graciosa cheesecake is all you need to finish a meal with traditional flavor.
This space is available from Monday to Saturday, between 7pm and 2am. The average price per person is 10€.
